Intermediate Signs Part 2

Amongst the observable signs of the day of judgement, there are signs that we are ignorant of and signs that can be put into perspective. • As-salamu aleikum we rahmatullah we barakatuh.
May Allah s.w.t. bless you and reward you with Jannatul Firdaws for your enlighten lectures on Signs of the Last Day.
    In regard with the hadith:
    – An abundance of rain but less crops and production
Can you name the scholars who estimate the existense (the release) of Dajjal nowadays based on this hadith in particular, and the scholars who estimate his existense based on whatever proofs that are avaliable?
In your sharh of the book of Barzanji on the ahaadith related with Dajjal you mentioned the the stronger opinion with regard of the 40 day lifespan of Dejjal is acceptance of “a day like a year, a day like a month, and a day like a week” literally, but their understanding like a periods of time is also possible. If we accept these days like a periods of time can we assume that the different signs and events that we witness nowadays are harbingers of the closness of the release of Dajjal like a human in our world, and of course Allah s.w.t. knows best.
Wessalamu alaikum we rahmatullahi we barakatuh.

    • Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

Yes, these are all signs and we cannot say for sure since the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and grant him peace) did not reveal the exact timings. However, as emphasized in the lecture, the most important thing is to focus on improving our lives since our own death is more closer to us than Dajjal or any other sign.
