Participants will explore the story of King Najashi (Ashama ibn Abjar), the then, Christian ruler who granted refuge to the first Muslim emigrants during the time of Prophet Muhammad (S). The lecture highlights the significance of Najashi’s grave and the burial site of 15 Sahaba (companions of the Prophet), shedding light on their legacy, interfaith harmony, and the roots of Islam in Africa.
